Giraffes have long necks to eat leaves from the tall trees. They have tough and strong tongues to be able to pull leaves from the branches. They also have spots on their body to camouflage themselves in the trees. This is how giraffes adapt.
Animal adaptation is how an animal's body helps the animal survive and get used to their environment. An example is a side winder, it slithers sideways across the sand to move faster.
I think an adaptation is when you do something but then something changes around so you have change to fit what changed around you. Snakes have diffrent colors to camouflage what is around them.
