The Willoughby's

The Willoughby's is about a family who's mother and father hate their children. Classic fairytales such as Hansel and Gretel are in a sense, retold in this book. This was not a "Just Right" book for me. I didn't finish it due to the annoyance of the overly dominant older brother. If you like classic fairytales that are twisted together, you might like this book.

Remember that it is ok to stop reading a book if you are having a hard time staying focused on the story or if you are no longer interested.

  2. Sorry to hear you have a cold! Colds in the summer are such a bummer! Hey, I made a rhyme! I forgot to say thank you for the Fourth of July Pictures! That was very cool! Glad to hear you are still reading. What are the titles!? I've been reading a bunch of grown up books. Like I said in this post, I didn't like The Willoughbys. I'm reading a book called Hoot by Carl Hiaasen. It is on the Battle of the Books list.

Thanks for posting all the time!
