• We will be celebrating Thanksgiving on Fri., Nov. 21. We will start the day by having a breakfast feast of Thanksgiving Company French Toast. The remainder of the day will be mostly for reading with a spelling test thrown in—and, of course, Fun Friday. To make the day “Thanksgiving comfy”, we will be wearing our pajamas. (No spaghetti straps or boxers, please.) Your child may bring the following to school as long as he/she can carry everything without help: beanbags, pillows, blankets, one stuffed animal or one beanie baby and an unlimited number of books. Throughout the day we will be lounging and reading our books. Is there a better way to celebrate how thankful we are for books and the gift of reading?
• We will begin practicing for our Christmas musical this week. Please make sure to plan to attend: Wed., Dec. 10 at 7:00 pm. Please have your child meet in my room by 6:40 for us to prepare.
