Third Grade Stuff

• We've made it through our first full day and I can tell already that it’s going to be a great year!
• Our doors open at 8:10 every morning. If you are dropping your child any time before 8:10, he/she needs to go to after-school care. Attendance is taken at 8:30 each morning. Please make it a priority to be early. Detentions are given for the third tardy and suspensions for each subsequent tardy.
• Any students not picked up from circle by 3:20 will be taken to after-school care and clocked in. If you arrive after 3:20, please find your child in after-school care.
• Your child may bring a water bottle every day to keep on my back counter. Please write their name or initials on it.
• For third grade calendar events, check the calendar page at the top of the blog.

• Tonight’s homework for your child is Read for 10 minutes. They need to continue bringing the book they are reading to school and then home to read for homework. The extra book is in case they finish their book and need another. Please initial or sign your child's spiral notebook to show that you are aware of their homework and that they completed it. The spiral will be going back and forth to school and this is what your child will record their homework assignments on in addition to spelling and memory.
