First Week Down!

We've completed our first week of school! (BIG SIGH) We had a great week! I wanted to post possible reasons why a student would not get Fun Friday:

1. He/She did not have their spiral signed one or more times during the week.
2. He/She did not complete an assignment that was to be completed by Friday.
3. He/She did not have their book at school.
4. He/She did not bring their homework to school.
5. He/She was on an unapproved website.

Hope this clears FUN FRIDAY up! To the right, in the Third Grade Information section, is a page called "Fun Friday". You can click there to read about Fun Friday.

I wanted to start consistent with this. If a student does not get to go to FUN FRIDAY, they have study hall.

1. Reading is NEVER a punishment in Third Grade! You do not read in Study Hall.
2. You complete unfinished work.
3. You copy out of a dictionary
4. You write your math facts.

Next week we will be decorating our portfolios. Students need to bring in pictures, ribbons and any other "stuff" they want to use. I'll explain more next week, but you can start looking now!
